iphone China Black Market - Still selling like hotcakes

No wonder why Steve Jobs is desperate to introduce his iphone to China Market. Just look at the black market at China mainland, smuggles graped huge profits just by satisfiing mid-class workers/managers’apple dream.

Some times before we’ve already been reported that unlocked iPhones are on sale in New York’s Chinatown, which means that the Chinese iPhone bootleggers have definitely set up shops in the states. The Times reports that the unlocked phones cost from $450-$600 in Shanghai. This puts them on par with the $600 versions on sale in New York, in spite of all the costs and dangers associated with importing them to China. Since, the standard Apple model sells for $400 and can only be used on specific wireless carriers, black market unlocked iPhones will probably remain a popular and economical option for many cell phone owners. The Times talked with an Apple spokesperson who aid that, although it is hard to come up with a reliable estimate, the number of unlocked iPhones being sold is “significant.”

As a variation of iphone black market, The iClones, however are not vulnerable to Apple’s updates and they should be the biggest obstructor if Iphone is going to be launched at China. The Hiphone (a name that looks like iPhone) is by now the most popular Chinese iPhone knockoff. These years, many company like Vaja, Sena make livings by producing apple accessories like iPhone case,But due to the absent of strict implementation of trade mark law, Copys like iClones are prevail through China Market. What’s worse iClones like (Hiphone) are made with technology copied from Apple, hopefully international trademark law would probably prevent many of them from being an option for consumers outside of China.
